With two Master’s degrees, including an MSc in Sustainable Development from The University of Sussex, United Kingdom, and over 25 years of experience working across both Global North and South countries, expertise spans policy analysis, fundraising, risk management, sustainability innovation and venture building as board member/leadership role. His portfolio includes consulting projects and research papers addressing sustainability challenges for policy entrepreneurs and the Government of India.

Holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management and Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin. With over 12 years of leadership experience as CEO and Director of Marketing at Harissons Bags, he brings deep expertise and executable insights in product & business development, brand management, and manufacturing operations. Our GRS-certified rPET fabric is abrasion-tested to 40,000+ Martindale rubs—equal to premium virgin polysters. Zippers and buckles are YKK® with lifetime failure rates <0.5 %. Every product batch undergoes drop-and-tear testing.
Absolutely. Every element—from the fabrics and zippers to the smallest accessories—is sourced domestically, and each bag is crafted right here in India by skilled local artisans. Keeping our entire supply chain within the country supports home-grown talent while sharply reducing the carbon footprint that comes with overseas imports.
We design for closed-loop life cycles: mono-material panels and easy-to-separate hardware. 65% of fabric weight comes from recycled PET certified through GRS.
rPET yarn is GRS-certified (Global Recycled Standard) for recycled content and chain of custody. Plant based leather with USDA BioPreferred (97%), TUV, SGS, REACH & CalProp certification.
Every bag is built from recycled-PET polyester and up-cycled plant-based leather. We supply a “Impact Sheet” with bottle-count, carbon and water savings per shipment, so you can document for your sustainability report.
